Imagine a late 2000s metalcore band putting on a hell of a show. Now imagine they're at the end of a mile-long, cavernous hallway. Finally, put a kid in the middle of the hallway, playing his Gameboy with the volume turned up to max. This album sounds like you're at the other end of that hallway. Enguarde is dreamy, heavy, and drowning in nostalgia. The cleans are as catchy as the production is clean. The runtime would make most Nintendocore "full-lengths" blush. Great stuff- I dig it!
