Hey it's Barry of course. I wrote this track instrumentally, John Nelson of Unicorn Hole did the vocals and lyrics for the first half of the song. That's his magnificent cleans in the chorus too. Hickman Plaisance and I sat down together and wrote the lyrics. The false ending part is actually a call back to the song Origins on Lappel Du Vide.... Which is also a callback to one of the first songs Hickman and I ever wrote together. We had alot of fun with this one. We wanted to try a different mix, something where the guitars, drums and bass were not necessarily the focal point of the mix, in the same manner we did with Sleeper. It came out decent.
